Midnight Season 2 Hotfixes: Devourer, Enhancement, Subtlety Buffed

Blizzard's hotfixes for the week of October 5 to 12, 2026 changed five specs for the better, one for the worse, and made the Ula'tek encounter easier. This page lists the changes and shows where to see how they affect real Mythic+ builds.

Unholy Death Knight: Blightfall now deals 100% of the remaining plague damage instead of 200%. A separate fix corrects how Augmentation Evoker damage is attributed.

Raid tuning: Ula'tek

Blizzard lowered several mechanics on Heroic and Mythic:

• Spectral Coils damage -20%.
• Toxic Burn -30% on Mythic.
• Caustic Waves now emits 3 waves per tail on Mythic (was 7).
• Stage 2: Warden's Protection damage -80%, fewer ground targets from Virulent Spit, Grasping Fangs periodic damage -30%, Blight Vein lasts 4 seconds instead of 6.
• Stage 3: Blightscale Shrieker and Blightscale Clutch health -20%, Circling Prey damage -30%, and Serpent's Bite no longer needs more than 3 soakers.

What to do with this

1. Do not respec only because of one hotfix. A +4% to +10% buff changes ranking at the margins. Look at what the best players actually run.
