Leveling speed in Forever

The XP curve is the same as Classic, so a level takes about as long as you remember.
Campfires let you rest in the open world, and the Legacy talent Well Rested builds rested XP faster.
Crafted food can give a small XP bonus, so keep some from a cook.
Dungeon quests give extra XP, and Blizzard is tuning dungeon kills so dungeon leveling is close to questing speed.

FAQ

What are the new zones in WoW Forever?

Zephras Isle, Riverglades, Shen'dralas, Mount Hyjal. Zephras Isle is the Skyborne starting zone, Riverglades is a level 35–45 zone in Khaz Modan, and Mount Hyjal is an endgame zone with the first raids.

Is leveling faster in WoW Forever than in Classic?

Not really. Blizzard kept the Classic XP curve, and average time to level 20 in the beta was almost the same as Classic. Campfires and the Legacy system make resting easier, and crafted food can give a small XP bonus.

Can you level through dungeons in WoW Forever?

Yes. Blizzard is tuning dungeon XP so that running dungeons is close to the speed of questing. Dungeon quests give extra XP.

Is there an official leveling route?

No. The route on this page follows zone level ranges and is the usual path for each faction. Adjust it to the quests and dungeons you enjoy.
