Setup tips

Choose the WoW Forever game version in your addon manager. Classic Era files won't load.
Start small: a quest helper, a bag addon and a boss mod cover most players.
After a game patch, update addons before logging in. Out-of-date addons are disabled by default.
WeakAuras has no official Forever version yet, so avoid copying old WeakAura strings.

Does WoW Forever support addons?

Yes. Forever uses the modern WoW interface and addon system, with the same limits on combat automation as modern WoW. Classic-era addons need a Forever version to load.
