Delta Force Fishing Guide
Season 11 added fishing to Operations. It is a side activity with its own level, gear and collection log. This guide covers what the official patch notes confirm.

How to unlock fishing
- Reach Operations Level 17 and start on Layali Grove (Easy) with the NPC Joe Reed.
- Fishing is possible on three maps: Zero Dam Easy, Layali Grove Easy and AZ3 Easy.
- The EDC Tool Kit also unlocks at Level 17. It can carry a Fishing Rod into a raid.
Rods and progression
Float Fishing Rod
The first of the two rod types.
Lure Rod
Uses line-tension management, so you have to control the pull during the fight.
Fishing Level and certification
Assessments with Joe Reed raise your Fishing Level and unlock better gear.
Gallery
A collection log that tracks the rarity and the maximum and minimum length and weight of every species you catch.
The Fishing Expansion Crate auto-equips to your Stash. There are also fishing match ratings and the Fishing Journey achievement tiers.
