Delta Force Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 Guide

Delta Force's anti-cheat, ACE, uses Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 as part of its security upgrades. If the game blocks you at the lobby, both settings need to be on. This guide shows how to check them and turn them on.

Season 11 Reorientation · updated October 14, 2026

What the anti-cheat checks

  • Garena announced Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 as part of its December 2025 security upgrades, alongside DMA Shield.
  • According to Garena, ACE only checks whether TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot are on. The check runs once, when you enter the Game Lobby.
  • Garena says ACE does not check your personal files, and the status data is kept for one week and then deleted automatically.

Step 1: check your status

  • Press Win + R, type msinfo32 and press Enter. Under System Summary, Secure Boot State should read On and BIOS Mode should read UEFI.
  • Press Win + R, type tpm.msc and press Enter. It should say the TPM is ready for use, with Specification Version 2.0.

Step 2: enable them in BIOS

  • Restart and press your setup key during boot (commonly Del, F2 or F10), or use Settings, System, Recovery, Advanced startup, UEFI Firmware Settings.
  • Enable the TPM. It is called PTT or Intel Platform Trust Technology on Intel, and fTPM on AMD. It sits under Advanced, Security or Trusted Computing.
  • Set Boot Mode to UEFI and disable CSM or Legacy boot. Secure Boot stays greyed out while CSM is on.
  • Set Secure Boot to Enabled. If it will not enable, choose the option to install the default Secure Boot keys first.
  • Save, exit and reboot, then run msinfo32 and tpm.msc again to confirm.

If Secure Boot is greyed out

If BIOS Mode shows Legacy, your Windows drive probably uses the older MBR layout. Secure Boot needs UEFI, and UEFI needs GPT. Back up first, then open an administrator Command Prompt and run mbr2gpt /validate /allowFullOS. If it passes, run mbr2gpt /convert /allowFullOS, reboot, switch the boot mode to UEFI in BIOS and enable Secure Boot. You do not need to reinstall Windows.

  • Compatible TPM cannot be found: the TPM is missing or disabled in BIOS. Enable it in firmware.
  • Still blocked after enabling both: make sure the changes were saved and do a full shutdown and reboot. Status data can lag for a short time after the change.

FAQ

Does Delta Force need Secure Boot and TPM 2.0?

Garena introduced both as part of its anti-cheat upgrades, and ACE checks whether they are on when you enter the Game Lobby. If the game stops you there, enable both.

Does the anti-cheat read my files?

Garena says no. ACE only checks the on or off status of TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot, once per lobby entry.

Do I have to reinstall Windows to enable Secure Boot?

Usually not. If your drive uses MBR, the built-in mbr2gpt tool can convert it to GPT without a reinstall. Back up your data first.
