Deadlock City Never Sleeps Update: What Changed

Overview

The City Never Sleeps update went live on 29 September 2026. A further game update landed on 14 October 2026.

New heroes

Six new heroes are being unlocked through a community vote: Deadman Danny, Nurse Harrow, Solomon, Baba, Violet and Rat King. Unlocks happen on Tuesdays and Fridays at 2 PM PT between 2 and 20 October. New heroes need 15 Standard wins before you can play them in Ranked.

So far the numbers are very different: Rat King is in S tier with a 56.1% win rate and is picked in about 85 of every 100 matches, Baba is A tier, while Solomon and Deadman Danny sit in D tier.

Map changes

• The lanes were renamed: Broadway (Blue), Greenwich (Green) and York.
• New side districts: Theater, Chinatown, Haunted Lot and Plaza.
• Haunts replace camps. Sunken Plaza and Bell Tower are new locations.
