Classes and masteries
Last Epoch has five base classes. You pick a mastery for each, which is a permanent choice.
| Class | Masteries |
|---|---|
| Acolyte | Necromancer, Lich, Warlock |
| Mage | Sorcerer, Spellblade, Runemaster |
| Primalist | Shaman, Druid, Beastmaster |
| Rogue | Bladedancer, Marksman, Falconer |
| Sentinel | Paladin, Void Knight, Forge Guard |
Picking one for Season 5
The developers published no official ranking for Season 5, so the tier list is a community-style ranking. Bladedancer, Sorcerer and Lich lead it, and the three starter builds are good places to begin. Choose what you enjoy playing: a mastery you like is easier to keep playing through the season.
Season 5 class changes
- Acolyte: Summon Bone Golem cooldown is now 3 seconds (was 10) and its mana cost is 30 (was 35). Flay's Blood Eruption subskill base damage was fixed from 2 to the intended 40. This is a bug fix, not a buff.
