Last Epoch Rage of Morditas Guide: Bloodrage Charges & Rewards
How the Rage of Morditas encounters, Bloodrage Charges, rituals and the Morditas boss work.
Season 5: Rage of the Frostborn · updated October 16, 2026
What it is
Rage of Morditas encounters appear in the campaign and in the Monolith of Fate. You fight waves of enemies against a timer.
Bloodrage Charges
Charges are earned by kill count:
| Kills | Charges |
|---|---|
| 20 | 1 |
| 50 | 2 |
| 90 | 3 |
| 140 | 4 |
| 200 | 5 |
Each charge grants a random Bloodrage buff for the encounter. At 200 kills the timer drops quickly and phase two begins in a blood-and-ice arena where phase-one enemies return. Leaving the combat area for 4 seconds ends phase two early.
Rewards and rituals
Defeating the enemies drops a Blood-Filled Crystal, which opens the reward system. A charge can either claim an item or perform a ritual:
- Frozen Ritual: sacrifice a reward slot and reroll the rest. The new rewards stay the same item type, and Rare and Exalted items gain Ice Forging Potential.
- Bloody Ritual: the sacrificed item type is excluded from the reroll, and Rare and Exalted items gain Blood Forging Potential.
The Morditas boss
Morditas is the new endgame boss. Three related challenges are tracked in the new Nexus window, and claimed souls unlock Echoes. The final fight is the Circle of Frozen Blood Echo. Beating standard Morditas unlocks Demigod's Ascendance, a pinnacle Woven Echo that needs 400 Corruption.
Weaver tree
Three new nodes shape the mechanic: Ubiquity of Rage (more encounters in Echoes), Seekers of Ice and Blood (more related uniques but stronger phase-two enemies) and Portents of Blood (replaces a random phase-two enemy with an Omen and drops corrupted items).
