ARC Raiders Blueprint Farming Guide: Where Each Blueprint Drops
Blueprints in ARC Raiders drop from specific containers, events and map conditions. Which sources matter, what is tied to a quest and what to check after patches.
By TopBuilds Team
Blueprints are permanent crafting recipes in ARC Raiders. Once you learn one, you can craft that item repeatedly as long as you have the materials. The catch is that most blueprints do not drop at fixed spots. They are tied to container types, events and map conditions, so knowing the source matters more than knowing a location.
Two rules apply to every blueprint. You must extract with it in your inventory to keep it, and you then learn it from your inventory so it appears in your crafting menu.
Blueprints tied to an event or condition
Some of the most wanted recipes only appear while a specific event or condition is active:
| Source | What it is linked to |
|---|---|
| Electromagnetic Storm | Snap Hook and Surge Coil, found in residential and industrial containers |
| Night Raid | Wolfpack, mostly from residential containers |
| First Wave Caches during Hurricane | Tempest, Canto, Bobcat, Vulcano and Vita Spray |
| Harvester event | Equalizer and Jupiter |
| ARC Assessor containers, Close Scrutiny operation | Dolabra (Legendary) |
| Stella Montis only | Deadline, Gas Mine, Pulse Mine, Seeker Grenade and Trailblazer Grenade |
If a recipe you want is on this list, wait for the matching condition instead of looting every container. The Stella Montis entries are worth a dedicated trip, since they only drop there.
Blueprints from raider containers
Uncovered Caches, weapon cases and ammo crates are the steady source for weapons such as the Anvil, Bettina, Il Toro, Osprey, Rascal, Torrente and Venator, along with gun parts. Uncovered Caches are described as the strongest of these, with a blueprint chance of roughly 10 percent for some items.
Gear and gadget blueprints by container type
- Residential containers hold attachments and some grenades. On maps with two major conditions (Night Raid, Storm or Locked Gate) they can hold Tier 3 versions of attachments.
- Industrial containers are the place to look for mines and explosives such as Blaze Grenade, Explosive Mine, Jolt Mine and Showstopper.
- Electrical containers hold Barricade Kit, Remote Raider Flare and Tagging Grenade.
- Medical and augment containers are best on two-condition maps and hold the Mk.3 augments and healing items.
Blueprints you get from quests
Not everything drops. Some recipes are quest rewards: Burletta (Industrial Espionage), Hullcracker (The Major's Footlocker), Lure Grenade (Greasing Her Palms) and Trigger Nade (Sparks Fly, which can also drop in the wild). If you cannot find one, check your quests first. Weekly Trials can also reward a few attachments and Vita Shot.
Tips for a blueprint run
- Keep the run short and light, and extract as soon as you secure a blueprint.
- Pick the container type that matches the blueprint you want, then pick a map and condition that doubles it.
- Duplicate blueprints can be sold for a quick coin boost.
- Squads help with coverage and ping loot with the middle mouse button, while solo runs are easier to keep quiet.
